Terms of Use (EULA)

1️⃣ General Provisions

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply when you download and use the VEDI mobile application ("Application"). By downloading or using the Application, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms.

2️⃣ Service Definition

VEDI is a safe video platform for children offering the following features:

• Watching parent-approved YouTube videos
• Age-appropriate content filtering
• Watch time control and reporting
• Parental PIN protection
• Creating custom video lists
• Sleep timer

3️⃣ User Obligations

You must comply with the following rules when using the Application:

• Age Limit: The Application is designed for children under 13 and should be used under parental supervision.
• Parental Responsibility: Parents are responsible for their children's use of the application.
• PIN Security: It is your responsibility to keep the parental PIN code secure.
• Adding Content: Ensure that the videos you add are age-appropriate.
• Compliance with Laws: You may not use the Application for illegal purposes.

4️⃣ Prohibited Behaviors

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• ❌ Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to obtain the source code of the Application
• ❌ Using the Application for commercial purposes without permission
• ❌ Using the Application to infringe on the rights of others
• ❌ Injecting viruses or malicious code into the Application
• ❌ Attempting unauthorized access to our system
• ❌ Adding fake or misleading content

5️⃣ Content Policy

System Videos

The Application comes with a safe video pool selected by our editors. These videos have been evaluated for age appropriateness. However, content may change and a 100% guarantee cannot be given at all times.

User Added Videos

Parents can create custom video lists by adding YouTube links. Parents are responsible for the content of these videos.

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove relevant videos from the system if inappropriate content is detected or reported.

6️⃣ Intellectual Property Rights

VEDI application, logo, design, and content are covered by our intellectual property rights.

• The Application name and logo are our registered trademarks
• The Application interface and design are protected by copyright
• Specially developed software codes are our property

YouTube videos belong to their respective content owners. VEDI shows these videos only in accordance with YouTube API terms of use.

7️⃣ Limitation of Liability

VEDI cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from:

• Video content removed or changed by YouTube
• Internet connection problems
• Device incompatibilities
• Data loss resulting from user error
• Disruptions in third-party services

8️⃣ Service Changes

We reserve the right to make changes at any time regarding the following:

• Application features and functions
• System video pool content
• Terms of use
• Pricing (if premium features are added in the future)

Significant changes will be announced via in-app notification.

9️⃣ Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your account or access in the following cases:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal activities
• Misuse of the Application
• Attempts to harm our system

You can also terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the app and deleting your data.

🔟 Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey, and Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices are authorized.
